The P4 children painted planters to put outside their play café. They all enjoyed having their lessons outside for the first time this year.

It is important to make sure that everything is well watered in.

Some children learned how to make a wigwam to support the growing vegetables. They planted beans and peas to grow up the supports. We hope to eat them before we leave for the summer break!

When the paint was dry they planted some summer flowers to brighten up their play area.

The school encourages the parents to be part of school life so we held a ‘Digging Day’! Some parents gave up their spare time to help us dig the vegetable plots ready for this year’s crop. They also did a good job of tidying up the willow dome after the windy winter. We all enjoyed a cup of tea and a chat in the staffroom later. Thank you for all your hard work!
